How often are new items added to the Islanders Game Original collection?
New items are added to the collection regularly, and we often introduce new items in line with the Islanders’ schedule.
What is the difference between "game-used" and "team-issued" gear?
Authenticated Game-Used Gear: Own a piece of history with official gear used by the players on the ice, including helmets, gloves, skates, jerseys, and pucks.
Custom Collections: Get your hands on one-of-a-kind items created from game-used materials.
Team-Issued Gear: Purchase official team gear that was originally acquired by the Islanders but not used in a game.
How can I be sure that the items are authentic?
Each game-used item is guaranteed game-used by an Islanders Game Originals certificate of authenticity.
What is the return policy?
All Islanders Game Originals are final sale; we do not accept returns for any reason. Islanders Game Original items are sold as is, without warranties of any kind. Wear is inherent to the nature of these items and does not constitute a defect.
Can I order Islanders Game Original items from outside the United States?
Yes, we do offer international shipping for Islanders Game Original items. Shipping rates and delivery times may vary depending on your location and order. You're responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported and for the taxes/duties that accompany international shipment. The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which the item is being shipped to. Orders shipped internationally may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are charged once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely by country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Do you offer gift cards for Islanders Game Original items?
Isles Lab gift cards can be applied to Islanders Game Originals products in store at Isles Lab at UBS Arena and Isles Lab Pro Shop at Northwell Health Ice Center only. Gift cards are not redeemable online at this time.
Does my STM discount apply to Islanders Game Originals?
Excluding auction items, STM discounts may be applied to Islanders Game Originals available for purchase in our retail locations and online. For clarity, STM discounts cannot be applied to auction items.
What is the authentication process?
Every item in the Islanders Game Originals line is sourced directly from the team, ensuring provenance, integrity, and a connection that only the franchise itself can offer. As the season progresses, every authenticated piece of equipment or jersey will have detailed information about the player, game(s) or season(s) of use, and more.
Are these items photo-matched?
No, these items are not photo-matched (unless otherwise stated). Due to the strong provenance of these items, having never left the team's facility, we are fully confident in their authenticity.
How do auctions work?
Direct bid system:
Bids are placed as direct bids, not proxy bids. This means that when you enter an amount, the system will immediately register your bid at that amount rather than treating it as a maximum and incrementally bidding on your behalf.
Our bidding system requires that you login and provide a payment method to keep on file. It will prompt you to authorize signing up for an account with our website.
After logging in with your account, you are able to place bids. You will be notified if someone outbids you. When the auction has ended you will be notified if you were the highest bidder and prompted to checkout as normal.
By placing a bid, you agree that your bid is a binding offer to purchase the applicable item. If you are the highest recognized bidder at closing as determined by Isles Lab, you agree to promptly pay the amount of your highest bid for the applicable item. Isles Lab reserves the right to cancel your bid and/or restrict your access to future auctions if you fail to make timely payment.
Last minute bids:
We recommend not waiting until the last minute to place a bid as there is a possibility of your payment not going through. We suggest padding at least 5 minutes to place your final and highest bid to ensure it will be placed. We are only able to honor the highest bidder that is recognized in our system at the time of the auction closing. If we do not receive confirmation of your bid being placed and being the highest bidder at the time of closing, we’re unable to honor your bid.
Isles Lab is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or system interruptions resulting from events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., power failures, hardware or software outages, natural disasters).
